Kennard Talks Butler, Visit from Coaches

Class of 2015 guard Luke Kennard, Franklin (OH) High School has been getting major attention and looks forward to even more this summer.

Despite offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Dayton, Indiana, Ohio State, Xavier, Class of 2015 guard Luke Kennard still thinks there are a few schools out there that are interested in offering.

"No new offers," Kennard said. "The last was Indiana. North Carolina and Butler have been showing interest (in offering). I talked to Butler today (April 22) and I'm working out for them tomorrow."

With Butler connecting with Kennard, the Bulldogs have positioned themselves well for the 6-foot 4 native of Ohio.

"Butler is definitely in the top 10 on my list," Kennard said. "I talk to Coach Johnson and Stevens. Butler has a tremendous coaching staff and a great academic opportunity."

Butler is moving to the Big East next season, and that only helps with Kennard's interest.

"The move is a big move for them," Kennard said. "It provides some more competition for their program, which I like."

InsideTheDawgPound will follow up with Kennard after his visit with Butler.
