MUNCIE (IN) - After a 3-0 start Brandon Miller finally takes his Bulldogs on the road to meet Ball State (2-1), the only opponent that Butler has met each season since 1950-51.

Butler is coming off a an overtime victory over Vanderbilt 85-77 led by a career-high 26 points from Khyle Marshall. The senior forward was simply unstoppable down the stretch and willed his team to victory.
Sophomore guard Kellen Dunham continues to lead Butler in scoring at 18.3 points per game and has scored in double figures in all 3 games this season.
Ball State comes into the game having won two games in a row after losing their opener to Indiana State. The Cardinals won their last game against 87-83 over Southeast Missouri State fueled by 20 points from Chris Bond and 19 points a piece from Zavier Turner and Jesse Berry.
For the season Ball State is led by Turner and Berry, each of which are averaging over 17 points per game. On the inside Majok Majok is a big presence averaging 10.3 rebounds per game.
The Bulldogs and Cardinals are meeting for the 63rd consecutive year and Butler holds a 66-38 lead in the series all time. Butler has also won 11 of the last 13 meetings including last season's 67-53 win at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Butler was led by Rotnei Clarke with 15 points and Andrew Smith with 12 points and 5 rebounds.
