ORLANDO (FL) - Butler (5-1) meets LSU (4-2) in the 3rd Place game of the Old Spice Classic.

Butler lost their first game of the season against #5 Oklahoma State 69-67 on Friday afternoon. The Bulldogs were led by Elijah Brown with 15 points, while Alex Barlow scored a career-high 12 points. Kameron Woods added 12 points and 9 rebounds. Leading scorers Kellen Dunham had 9 points, while Khyle Marshall added 8.

Dunham continues to lead the Bulldogs in scoring at 17.3 ppg. Marshall is averaging 16.8, while Woods is averaging 10.2 points and 9.2 rebounds.

Head coach Brandon Miller is now 5-1 as Butler head coach.

LSU is coming off of a loss to #21 Memphis in the semifinals 76-69. LSU had the lead for a while, but relinquished the lead to the Tigers in the 2nd half. LSU was led by point guard Anthony Hickey with 20 points and Johnny O'Bryant III added 14 points and 9 rebounds. Second year head coach Johnny Jones has the Tigers at 4-2.

This is the 2nd meeting all-time between LSU and Butler. LSU leads 1-0.
